Kiwi Week and Kiwiathon 2010
In July 2010, Kiwi Week will take place and Radio 1XX will again host a Kiwiathon and hopes to raise $10,000 for the Whakatane Kiwi Trust.
\nKiwi Week 26th July to 1st August 2010
\nKiwiathon on Radio 1XX - Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August

Nocturnal Kiwi Listening Walks
Guided bush walks through the Ohope Scenic reserve.
\nListen for kiwi and other wildlife.
\nWalks start at 7pm and last approximately two hours, with an introduction to the area and the work being done to protect the kiwi.
\nAdults: $15
\nChildren: $10(ages 8 - 17) - No Children under 8.
\nDates - Subject to weather.
